In the May 06 issue of Dirt Wheels there is a Blingstar advertisement on page 203 showing Jeremiah Jones on his quad. There is a black "nose" like piece where the headlight used to be. It has "Quad Tech" on it and you can see where it is bolted (riveted?) to the front fender. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or knows what it is for?

Its just a replacement for the headlight to keep the front from looking "naked". Just something else to spend $100 that has no function if you ask me.

I think it may actually have some function. I have not seen it in person, but i am hopping the nose peice will shield the electronics that are exposed when you take of the headlight.

why not just use the plastic piece thats around the headlight and tuck it up farther and use 2 of the screws that held that plastics on the headlight assembly and look like this

FUEL is right it is to keep the wires and other stuff behind where the headlight used to be clean
