Hi everybody, i just bought a new LTR and i have a cherry bomb with the baffle out and lid off. i just ordered a pro design intake with the uni filter and i was wondering what i have to do to install it and how difficult it is and what are the tools that i need, and how long it takes to install? thanks.

Well, mine just showed up at the door this morning, so hopefully I'll have time to install today and let you know.

Its not that hard. I intalled mine in about 30-45 mins total. Once you get the plastic off and the box out its not hard at all. Alls you need is a drill small wrenches and some silicone.

Well, it was going smooth until I found that the hole in the alum. flange does not fit all the way over the inner plastic flange on the airbox. :angry:

I'm gonna try and open it up a little tomorrow and get it to fit. Rocky M says it's me and that the part is correct. Silly me :blink:

Well, I had to sand the opening in the alum. flange quite a bit to get it to fit over the plastic flange but I finally got it. So to answer your question regarding time I put about 3 hrs in it. :angry:

I didnt have too much problem after getting the damn Air Box out......Id say 1-1.5 hrs total!

well it took me about 1 hr. and 45 minutes. it wasnt too bad. not too many problems thanks again for all the replys
