Pismo is fun too, I will never knock it. Ride all day, then go to sea food dinner, then find drunken college girls, mmmmmmmmm, college girls.

Well if you haven't been to Windchester Bay in Oregon then you don't know what you've been missing. I've been to every popular dune riding area on the west coast including St. Anthonys and Glamis and nothing beats the hills of Windchester Bay. They have the biggest/steepest dunes in the U.S.A. No joke! If you just like to ride in a wide open area then there are several better places to ride. But if you like to hill climb and do hole shots then Windchester Bay can't be beat. There's a reason Sand Fest is held in Westchester Bay Oregon. Check it out! And if you haven't been there don't knock it. One trip and you'll be coming back. Trust me.

Well the only place i've been to is Glamis, but since Silver Lake is in Michigan, I'll have to try them out. Also how are they? If they are decently big, then i would have a new favorite.

My brother and I never rode sand until this past weekend. We drove to silver lake from NH. We had a hell of a time but I would say that they are too small. Two days was great, three was a little much becuase there is no variety.

Biggest hills and hardest to climb and bearly known.... Cinders hands down.

Coolest dunes because of local....... Pismo but you better air down your truck and trailer to less than 20psi.

Best camping facilities and fun easy to ride dunes....... LS Oklahoma great camping but the park is small. Great for locals but I wouldn't drive half way across the country for this one.

Most technical, huge bowls and dunes for days........ Glamis!!!

My brother posted up this pic he found of $100 hill.

I voted for glamis as best dunes...... but I can honestly say..... Glamis's climbs aint got nothing on this!!!!

I've got a video of my trying the hill on my LTR in the Dune Vacation post if you want to see it. The video is decieving with most of it being zoomed in. This rider is about the same location I made it up to..... however it looks like he's still climbing.

Those of you within easy driving distance owe it to yourselves to experience this place at least once.

That is my summer ridding area. Nothing like climbing a hill that takes minutes instead of seconds.
