Would you want a new upper a-arm that is castor and camber adjustable with replaceable ball joints? As most of you know You cannot replace the stock ball joints. Also you cannot adjust the castor or camber. So i am thinking of making just a Stock replacement upper a-arm. This a-arm would be made of 4130 chromoly, so it will be stronger then the stock upper a-arm. If you bought this new upper you would also be able to replace the ball joints unlike the stock upper a-arm. This new upper a-arm would also have castor and camber adjustments.

IF.... you did this..... I would like to see you offer a bottom replacement later on. Someone could spend half the coin right now. Then later pick up a "matching" bottom.

Would it be possible to offer that stock length "bottom" in --- Standard AND Long travel ?

Yes IF, it has a decent sized ball joint. Unlike the early model Leager's which could snap easily. Threaded portion were to small of a diameter, he now offers a service to upgrade to the larger ones I've heard. Most a-arms now look like they come with good sized ball joints.
Would it be a ball joint type or a spherical rod end like the Jannsen Motorsports "outlaw" series has going into the end of the a-arm?

Steve this is a tough one for me. All of the suspension experts I have had long talks with, all say its right on where it needs to be bone stock. Well respected individuals.

The camber is set more then likely one time. Caster can and may be changed from track to track if you are a faster A rider or Pro racer. I never touched mine, after I set it. And rec riders dont need it, they dont care how fast the bike turns, and most would not even notice it.

IMO I dont think its all that beneficial. It looks cool, but as far as function, I think that would probably favor the MX riders, that actually change it, and from my experience its few and far between.

R3 made some very good points, maybe just a replaceable ball joint would be good enough. Like my Sig. says I don't have an LTR yet, do the stock ball joints seem like they will hold up well? Just haven't seen many new LTR's yet, let alone pay attention to the ball joints close. Don't like the idea of having to buy an a-arm if I snap a ball joint. Honda did the same crap with the stock ones too.

R3.....very good points.....I think this is exactly the feedback Steve is looking for. Both sides, pros and cons.

I view it as a good "replacement part" -- when needed. Something more durable than stock. Around the same price as an oem. Would obviously need grease zerks -- as well.

I think if you made a set with just replaceable ball joints, that would be great and definitely some matching lowers down the road with long travel option. Just IMO.
