sand stars on t-9s and other mods in sig, i didnt have enough time to get the skat-traks in time for this trip, but i figured i would do my best out playing in the drags and considering everyone else and their mom had sand stars it made for a fairly *close* races.

granted i am still learning on this quad but my riding progressed through the weekend

first day

700r = quick bike, back and forth racing

yfzs = it less than a bike or two behind

ds650 = very slow and always lost

660r = does decent but not quick enough

any 400 = doesnt stand a chance even if you are jetted piped, etc...

the 2-strokes i raced werent really fast except the 2% out there with the full race bike that would just blow you away

second day

the suspension showed it self after the drags were beat to death over the corse of the weekend, the bike shined and ruled unless i forgot to shift, dont ask how the only explination i have is "i am new and thought it would shift itself"


as for the normal riding around and climbing the bike never missed a beat and always had power to go wherever my *thumb* took me

awesome bike and still to this day i never regret my purchase over the other bikes out there even if this is my first ride on a quad.

well i was there this weekend and it was not just me about 4 other ltr450s but the 700r were winning everything.
ltr450 were ok on the drags, got the holeshot everytime,on drags and cop hill. but the 700r took king of the hill at comp.me and my friend (700r/ltr450) switched everytime and raced. long run 700 , short run 450. and those are the results we got.

I'll be at Pismo tomorrow (6/2-6/4) with another LTR and some YFZ's... Look for us just past Steve's ATV rentals near the fence line. I have a Funrunner hauler with a lifted black Excursion and my buddy will have a lifted burgandy H2 (bad a$$)... should have another motorhome pulling a enclosed trailer along with at least 2 other haulers as well.

Stop by and say 'what up! ! !'

I'm impacted by the recall and my dealer gave me the cold shoulder today so I'm going to be trying to snap the rear shock mount welds so they have to give me a new frame....

Well I'm back from Pismo and no cracked frame(darn) and no broken bones(yea). And as lil ltr450 said before... only the 700r's were beating me on the drag strip (asside from the guys with the 15k into their quads in mods of course). My buddy that just sold his 05 YFZ to get the 06 YFZ was trippen as well...... because even when he got the holeshot I'd still pass him in 3rd pinned....

One more thing... I proved that the White ones are faster then the yellow ones..... My buddy on his yellow LTR never beat me all weekend....lol... now he's ordering a set of Elka duners.... God I hope it doesn't help... lol

he has to do more than just get shocks if he wants to beat a white ltr..
700r = faster than ltr.
