Ok I just ordered a set of 8 paddle extremes just wondering if anyone else has these and if so how do they run in the sand and how well do they turn.

8 paddle extremes is way too much paddle, its going to slow you donw trying to turn those. I would get a 6-7 paddle hauler or a 6 paddle extreme, id prefer the haulers. An 8 inch rim would be better for racing because those tires are lighter than the ones on a 10" rim. The 10"s turn better though.

Haulers dont turn as well because thier straight paddles. Sandstars will turn better becuase thier V-paddles. The Sand stars rob power though. They weigh so much more than haulers its worth giving up the turning and getting used to the haulers.

or get the V pattern Skats or Sandtire Unlimited versions then you can have a really fast tire with turning ability.

I've got 7 paddle haulers on mine and Rob killed me with his comp cut sandtires. I believe they're running it on a 10" wheel too.

its going to be too much paddle. I bought a set of 6 paddle haulers for drag racing on flat and up hills. I know these will do a lot better. Do what you want, but im still sticking with its too much paddle.

I know that is too much paddle. ACE we need to hook up and run those 6 cup haulers verse my 9 cup glidders. I would like to see how they compair. I think a 5 cup hauler might be the way to go. Just no balls or money to buy another set of tires.

i think a 5 paddle is pushing it. It might not be enough paddle. The haulers i have are mounted on 8x6 rims B) Got the idea from Fast1 when his buddy kicked my ass cause of those tires. The pressed in center allows for more roll out at higher speeds. Super donut tires..

Fuel I think you should buy like 5 different sets of paddles and take them to a dyno and tell us what works best. Junkie can pay for it too. :) Now that's a chart I want to see..... mowahahah!!!!

Oh and film it!!!

Junkie and i have done it ...... We ran a test of our own. ( cup glidders vs sand stars. Then i ran 9 cup glidders vs. 8 cup haules. Lets just say the glidders man handled the others. I have not run the 6 cup haulers or 6 cup paddla brats. So right now 9 cup glidders are king for me. I will have some 6 cup haulers soon. If i beat Junkie he is gona be pissed......
