I will be heading down there to ride in a couple weeks, staying at the KOA campground in Coos Bay. All I have done to mine is cut out the airbox lid and covered it with pantyhoses. Think I went with Leggs black supportive, lol. As far as paddles I will be running extremes 20x10x10 8 paddles, we will see how they do. Don't know if Im going to buy front sand tires yet.

will pantyhose keep out the fine dust?we dont want that in our engines!ya i am staying at the koa in north bend should be a good time.cant wait to drink some cheep beer....lol..
Your foam air filter is for keeping out dust, all the pantyhose does is the samething as a prerunner, just keeps the big stuff out, like sand and dirt.
A well properly oiled filter will do its job. You just have to clean it. I run the Oregon dunes all summer long with a k&n and outerwear no lid on my yfz.
