LOL! I have not even started it yet! Balmy 38* here today...I am old and have aching joints so I will not seat the rings until it is at least 50*...Tuesday or Wednesday look to be back up to the 60's so the first ride will wait till then.

IMO, I follow the motoman theory and the first 30 minutes are pretty crucial to the rings so no idleing around for this one...she wont get started until time to bring it up to op temp for the break in.

Feels really small to me...I have + stem and bars on my 450R so the LTR seems small and very low to the ground. Part of it is the little tires...we ride dunes 99% of the time and the tires I have been running lately are all 21" rears so the factory 18's just look really tiny. Rear suspension seems pretty soft, I think the rebound is set a little slow for my tastes...easy fix. The front end feels like a rock and definitely needs some attention for me not counting my much lighter wife. I will play with the preload and the comp settings on the front, but no real tuning until we hit the dunes March 10...

Congratulations...leave it to an Okie to not even start a machine, that people would kill to get their hands on

(Ok, all jokes aside now) Wish you and your wife the best of luck with getting the new machine setup for your tastes, enjoy it!
