ok i know this is my 4th topic or so.... im really excited
and well i dont know what to get for my ltr first
absolutly no motor mods due to warinty stuff
so what would you sugested :huh:
im thinking one of these graphics, hood, beak, bumper, or ect...

I would actually wait. Feel out your LTR first then decide what to buy. Something you buy now you may not want so much with a week or two of seat time.

Do the cherry bomb, airbox, and baffle mod for now and ride it like it is. Accessories like nerf bars are always a pretty safe bet, but you may want to work on paying your dad as large of payments every month as possible instead of burning more cash into it. They're solid machines from the get-go. If you're going to be racing - nerfs, killswitch, and number plates.

Take BCG's advice and feel it out before you flush more money down the drain

If you dune there are certain things you will probably want first, if you race MX it will be different, desert racing different, and if you just trail ride different again.

$40 mod is the best starting point... but buy one from LTR450hq

my dad said since i maned up enough to buy it with my own money and all and not beg for it, he said he'll help me out pay for it i had 4500 saved up and 2,300 for the trade in so he said he'll pay the 400 i was missing, and i would only have to give him 50 bucks a month and he'll help me out along the way so im pretty happy,

it will be used for mx & xc im gana race the xc events with my bro when he goes to them for fun but i dont plan on becoming a pro in xc,

Then ride it for awhile and see where you need stuffs.

Although if your doing any sort of XC I highly recomend a skid for the swing arm. The stock one is a POS.

Just mod or take off the lid get a K&N filter, put womans pantyhose over it

Pantyhose? Hmm sexy. So you put the crotch on the airbox, where do you put the legs? Ahh....I think I know, those stretch up the hand grips. Keeps them dry when its raining!!! Now what style, size, color? i was thinking something like this...

U found Team Suzuki's secret mud screen. I went by the Suzuki trailer at a national and they were cutting up pantyhose so it would fit the radiator.
