I rode it for just a few runs up and down the street. Then drained the break in oil... replaced it with some "66" Trop artic 10w-40 to finish with the break in... took it to the dunes here in Utah (Jerico) performed fantastic!! after the break in is done I'm sure I will go to a synthetic, not for sure wich brand?? just a good synthetic and change it often.

I always run synthetic now...it's definitely expensive but it covers all bases.

I run Amsoil full synthetic and change it frequently and I love it!

Everyone has their own opinion of oil...I think you should all take a look at the below link and start with:

i forgot my manual at the dealer.how long are we supposed to run with the break in oil in it?then after that do we run a part synthetic or no synthetic?and how long?what weight do they reccomend?how much does it hold?if anyone can help me out with this info i would greatly appreciate it.untill i get my book im clueless

10 hours at half throttle is what it says, then check the valves, change the oil and let er rip. :eek:
