The Cannondales had problems with this...some people had the theory of they were putting too much oil in the quad and she was just puking it up.... not sure if it would be the same problem with the LTR...because the airbox is in a different place than the Dale....but I do remember I had oil in my airbox a couple times and I might have put a little too much oil in it those few times.

Need Some Help in problem solved. I am having the same problem with my wifes Z. I hope its not the same thing he had but all signs point to it.

Did some research when it was happening to me and more than likely the problem is the rings/cylinder. There are quite a few people running up to an extra 200ml in their oil tanks and aren't haveing any signs of oil in their intake.

I agree w/Junkie at least I had an idea as to what caused the the damage to mine. Atleast now you have the option to throw in a different piston.

You more than likely need your cylinder re-nikasiled or some other kind of coating. I went with max-power they had great customer service. Here's their website http://www.maxpower-engines.com/mpcplate.htm They use a different coating called Apticote 2000. Is it better than nikasil??? Anybody know?? I liked the fact that the whole sleve was coated not just where the piston travels.
