Thought everyone would enjoy this. Just think about what lies ahead dragging those trailers out, and all of the damage it caused. One of the many reasons I woudlnt race snowmobiles!
what a bunch of lazy idiots. instead of walking an extra 50ft, they all decide to park close as hell to each other on ice. at least leave some room in between trailers so not so much wieght distributed in such a small area.
The ice is usually the thinnest at the shore to, so even if they would have parked a little further out they would have Been fine.
You just know there was a little kid that said "Daddy shouldnt we park on the dirt?" and the dad says "Son, we have been parking on this ice for as long as I have been racing, It will be fine".......... KERPLUNK!
 Reminds me of the ice races a couple years ago some idiot drove around the barriers and droped his buddy's brand new ford through the ice! the water was barely up to the bottom of the doors so not too much damage but no way to drive it out, so they bring in a dozer and hook up about 75 feet of chains well the chains popped and whacked the back of the truck did a number on the tailgate so they bolt the chains back together and try again only this time they dont take the slack out first  gee the bolt breaks and the chain flys through the back window of the truck just missing the idiot who stuck the truck. well after that they moved the cat closer and doubled the chains up and finaly hauled the truck out of the hole busting all the plastics and ice around it as it was pulled out..
I've seen that pic before... I remember that being in the news on my local channels. I believe they are in Minnesota drag racing or doing oval racing maybe. I am a snowmobiler myself in the winter and I try to stay of the ice unless its like 20 degrees or below that. Its cool to see that again though.
I've been in the path of broken ice on SLEDS before...at least there if you stay on the throttle there's not the hugest risk with enough experience. That...well that sucks
