I think they are great, because without a nose piece u can see everything and witha smaller piece you lessen the empty space, but i bet for a couple inches of carbon fiber it will cost alot. like one company was making carbon fiber nose pieces for the other 450's and they were around $150, a plastic nosepiece was below $70

"yes it is in the production process as we speak.
the beak will be made in plastic white yellow or black and possibly carbon fiber look too.
carbon ones will most likely not be made due to skyrocketing carbon fiber prices."

this is what they told me in an email. i still like the shape of that piece so I guess I'll have to wait.

I'll just wait till they are available to dealers, cause most stuff i get from my dealer takes from a one day to a few days.

Bill From Quadtech told me the same thing...carbon fiber is going sky high and the plastic pieces should be ready in about 6 weeks this is what he told me directly in an email yesterday ! Yellow, white, Black and a crbon fiber simulated look!

Jason

I also heard through my sponsor that Maier will be coming out with a nose piece as well by the end of April !

Are you going to make something like quadtech that goes under the plastic like that? I just like the look of it going under like that.

Or how about some carbon frame protectors that would come up and cover the fuel pump? Now that would be sweet!

OT I know one of you're racers, Leric, Hes a good kid and can be supper fast!

Yea Leric is good, he might be done after this year for while though...school next year. We will NOT be making anything like that nose piece that quadtech makes. Most people dont think it looks good at all and its too long. Our hood extends 1 3/4 inches over the front ...just enough to fill the gap and protect the stuff the headlight was covering. Ask Kevin (lost creek cycles) and Dunk about the hood they love it. We are always open to suggestions on new products and we have a couple ideas in the works coming soon!! Wait til you see dunks quad at Danville!!!!
