I recently ordered a set of Noleen J6 shocks. I was going to order a set of longtravel a-arms but Noleen said not that long travel arms are not needed on the LTR. Has anyone had any experience with noleen's shocks and should I change my shock order and order long travel a-arms?

The shocks will be great either way. I think what they might be saying is that you will not get much more travel with long travel a-arms. Here are a couple things to consider.

1. long travel a-arms will have more 1/2 to 1 inch more travel then the stock a-arms.
2. long travel a-arms will be a little wider then stock a-arms.
3. long travel a-arms will use 2 to 3 inch longet shocks
4. you cannot replace the ball joints on stock a-arms
5. you cannot adjust castor or camber with stock a-arms.

Walsh Racecraft sells the uppers. We are a Walsh dealer or you can order them direct. We have a rider that bought them a month ago or so and loves them.

Also, we have several riders on the Noleen shocks on Hondas and they are great! We are a Noleen dealer and also use ONLY Noleen to do any revalving. We highly recommend them.

hey that quad looks like mine lol :p
IMO Long travel is a waste of money for this quad!
a 1/2" to 3/4" wider and a longer shock you only trully gain about a half inch of travel from....
Just goin to a aftermarket shock alone gives you a 1/2" to a Inch more travel
As far the Walsh Upper arms, I love Them the best thing ive bought for the quad next to the steering dampner! Im goin to order a set of J-6's for my quad next and call it good
Give Atp a call,Good Customer Service and Great Prices ;)

i was talkin to john houser and he just finished making uppers with the slicast for the ltr...they sounded pretty trick by the way he was talking about them! And to chime in on the LT subject I personally believe if you are going to replace shocks you might as well go with aarms and get LT...u may only gain an inch or so but that is a noticable inch of travel if your a 'balls to the walls' rider...if your just an amateur racer or even the weekend warrior yea standard is fine but all serious mx'ers would shell out the extra couple hundred for LT just for the smoother ride and reassurance of having extra travel...again just my opinion from my experiences!
