Recently purchased a 07' 450 has cherry bomb and RS-5 slip on its hard starting. Like really really hard, just cranks and cranks. If its pushed it'll pop off and run like a top. From what I've been reading on here I believe it needs the valves adjusted. Going to tear it apart tomorrow night and spec it.
Choke lever-- what the heck is a choke lever doing on a FI bike and what is its purpose? When do you use it? I've messed with it when it wont start and it doesn't make a lick of difference.
FI light-- I noticed today while riding on break from work the FI light was on. Should I just adjust valves and disconnect battery (I'm guessing you can clear it that way?) and see if it stays off or is there a way to check the codes? Like a paper clip to get the light to blink?
