If it were mine (unfortunately it's not) I would invest in new plastic, then new shocks since you're planning to race. I wouldn't worry about those tires for a long time. Trust me, I know from experience that RAZR's work great until there almost completely bald. Great machine man. Oh and by the way, how does that pipe work? I haven't heard much about the Dubach pipes....

Thats a good deal for 1700 and I also back the performance of razr or razr2 tires 200% at any tread level no need to replace those yet! What year is it?

dirt pilot: thanks, its an 03

4 stroke rocket: i cant get on the throttle because the CDI is busted and it backfires, but it sure sounds good when its ideling.

so i should worry about getting new plastics first?

do some people race harescrambles with shaved plastics?

Most people in xc and harescrambles depending on where you are worry about mud and fenders do serve a purpose in nasty thick mud keeps your own front tires from throwing it right in your face which is important when you really need to see like at high speed in a race! But it's your call they look good either way I choose not to cut mine because where I ride in the woods there is tons and tons of mud and I like to see the trees I almost hit in third gear lol plus it gets expensive to run roll offs if you ride often. Your call good find though!
