Here are some new pics of my R450. I added the seat cover and trimmed the factory graphics a little bit. Still going to trim the fenders, just waiting until I have time. Also, I have the DG nerfs, I just don't have them netted up yet. It may not be the best looking LT-R450 out there, but there isn't another one that looks like it.

Here is the trim job on the factory graphics. I like it more every time I see it.

Here is the new seat cover.

Hope you guys like it. Let me know what you think.

Nice looking quad. That is the first time I ever saw that seat cover.
[/b]

The company that made it, Last Rebel Racing, went out of business about 4 or 5 years ago.

And wyomingatver, it took me almost a week to get that seat cover on, working on it at least an hour every day when I got off work. I was just proud to have finished the damn thing! There is a graphic shop here in town that can make anything custom and they are [email protected] As soon as I have time, I am going to get some radiator shroud covers made and some tank cover graphics. Then I'll post more pics.

BTW Junkie, Daisy was "indisposed" at that moment.

And nobody said anything about the trim job on the factory graphics. What do you think?

Sweet looking quad man. I saw some graphics at the local dealer about two weeks ago for a Z400 that would go perfect with your seat cover. It was rebel flag factory Suzuki graphics kit. They also had an American flag kit. But they were for a Z400, you might check for an LTR. but they said Suzuki and everything, it was pretty sweet.

Love the seat cover
[/b]

Thanks. I know my R won't ever be the best looking, because I don't have that kind of money to sink in it. But I don't think there will be another one like it either, especially since the company that made that seat cover went out of business several years ago. And the only bikes they made them for were Banshees and 400EX's. I really think it will stand out after I get the completely custom graphics on.

Burro...in case no one told ya? Thats a good looking bike bro...can't wait to see the kit you make work with the seat...you got a theme going...that the best thing to kick start a project. I have built enough cars to tell you that you gotta have a theme to give yourself direction and a vision for the project :D

Keep us posted :D

Wow have you been doin a lot of ridin on the pavement or lots of donuts in the dirt? your tires look worn out
[/b]
I don't know if you noticed or not, but those are not the stock tires. Those tires and wheels are factory equipment off of a 400EX. I have a 98 Banshee that I blew up, big time, but I bought those to put on the Banshee from a friend who got Razr's for his EX . I just figured out that they would fit on the LTR so I used them for better ground clearance. Way more top end too. Helps in the 1/4.

Right now I am putting a Suzuki DR650 motor in the Banshee. I am going to have to cut the bottom out of the gas tank, and have a new tank fabbed up to go where the Banshee radiator was, but it should be a torque monster when it's done. I think I'll stick withe the FMF Power Core silencers I had, redo the thru diameter, and leave it dual exhaust with the big four-stroke. When I get it done, I'll post pics. Leave me nice trail bike when I'm done, since the LT-R450 has problems on some of the tight trails around here.

But in answer to your question, YES. I drag race alot on pavement, and just generally ride the piss out of it whenever I'm on it.

Thats what i was hoping to do with YFZ. I still have stock YFZ tires and they are really worn down, but sinmce they don't fit i can't test my top speed compared to the other 450's.
