This where someone that is extremely knowledgable in suspension can fix it. No offence to Farrer or anyone else ( especially Farrer cause i've seen him ride and he's damn fast ), As Farrer said with the Dales, but most of the time i seen you had to do things that seemed and sounded totally wrong would help the Dales handle better. You have to look also the round tubing aluminum will flex a bit more than the square tubing of the Dale frames. I believe the square box tubing in the Dale frames was extremely strong because it has more material set at a verticle angle, where you would compare a round tubing of the same size having only a small amount vertical. Vertical material is important here because that is where the majority of the stress lies. I believe this is why Dale frames did'nt flex in corners and they did'nt handle the greatest through choppy stuff, they need some "flex" designed into them. Does this make sense?
