Are these tires available yet? Also are the stock ltr tires ok for hard pack racing? I'm racing at Walnut for the GNC nationals and was wondering if the stockers would be a better choice. I know the SX's are made for hard, dry places, but i don't have alot of time to wait for Itp's.

Yup, the SX's are available; but they are pretty pricey still. I had a chance a few weeks back to ride a pair on a semi-hard packed track and they worked awesome. I'd recommend them with pretty high regards

I know Kyle has the SX's listed on the Cernics site, give it a look

I've got some LIKE NEW rear ITP sx's that just have the Steel City National on them. Probably 90% tread left. Interested? If so send me an email with your offer. [email protected] Thanks, Nick.

I run the rear stockers at Walnut. There is no hard packed at Walnut. Like Farrar said the stock tires are pretty bad on hard packed but I like them on loamy tracks. Walnut is very loamy with a mix of dirt and sand. It usually gets pretty whooped out in certain areas. It is a very fast track.

Well even though Walnut is loamy, with all quads racing ti will get dry and hard in most the corners and some straights. Also yes Walnut is a fast track, if u have decent corner speed and can do all the jumps then u could keep up with tricked out bikes with a stock one.

At the quad nationals the fronts were $60 and the rears were $65, so atleast they aren't alot of money.

I have the SXs too. I like them, they don't slide like the stock tires do... but they hook up all around much much better. I have about 14 hours on mine, MX track time and they're holding up good.

My SX's held up great but I got a VERY good deal on a full set of Maxxis soft compund Razr that should hook up awesome so I decided to try them out! I had 2 nationals on the SX's and the only thing that is worn down on them is the square edge but they still hook up great!
