i need nerfbars and a rear and engine skidplate ASAP

any suggestions ?

I oredered Pro Armor and they were actually cheaper through ProArmor. They are running 20% off all Ltr parts if you order them now but you will not get them for a few weeks. I ordered the rear and main skid plates and the pro-nerf bars.

I ordered a full set of skid plates from prm-atv.com In my oppinion, they are the best that you can buy. They were also very easy to put on and they look great and are very durable.

I was looking at the Pro Armor stuff. The rear number mount, does that have to mount on there grab bar or is that like a stand alone bumper?

I ordered mine from Moto-Man last Thursday I think. I got a call the next day saying the items aren't in stock yet. I asked when they guessed they would be in stock and was told 10-14 days.

That is fine with me because AC all the way is what I want and the price is great.

anybody know what they weight? I'm looking for a very lightweight full chassis skid plate. I know Pro Armor has .125 thickness which might be a good.

I believe the shipping weight was 13 pounds for both the rear skid and the nerf bars. I ordered the main at a different time and have no idea on that. I am sure the shipping weight includes a lot of packing weight.

I just called ProArmor about there number plate. He didn't say you had to have there grab bar to use it but he said it was designed to work with it. I'm going to pick it all up now.

BAM! That was a pretty penny but it had to be done. With the 20% off they were offering it would have been stupid to wait. I am hoping they come while I am home on leave but I'm not holding my breath. If they are you can bet you'll get photo's! Yea the shipping weight was insane. I need the skid plates for the desert and nerf's for our short course races though. It was all pretty much a must have so I can't complain.

yeah i don't want my ltr to have too much weight either, cause today i went riding and one spot was muddy where you turn and no matter what heel guards you had on it just stuck right on. It added about 8lbs of mud easily per side. so i guess i'm going to shave some plastic off the heel guard so then any mudd that comes off the front tire flies through the guard to the rear tire.

I should be getting residuals on this. Irish it looks like you were just in time too they dropped the 20% off to 10%. The weight issue to me is not too big of a deal since I weight 150lbs I can add 20 to my quad and still have less weight than most riders.
