I know this has been discussed, but I am trying to find out which ones will be the best... Also I was wondering if there are any that I haven seen yet... I want built in heel guards but I also want a big netted area... I like the Pro Armors but I don't like how the netted area is small... I like how big the netted area is on the AC's... I am not real big on the netted heels like the Rath's... My heel always comes down on the heel guard when I land off of a jump so I need something strong... The Pro Armors would be great if the bardidn't bend back in toward the frame so far back... I hope you guys understand what I am talking about with the bigger netted area... I was thinking the ones that Gust and JJ have on there bikes from AC would be awsome... I love those but I'm sure there is no way to get those... I saw those on the post on here from when Gust visisted this one guys local dealership... Here is the link to that post... http://www.ltr450hq.com/invision/forums/in...688&hl=gust .... If anyone could help me find the perfect nerfs I would really appreciate it... Thanks

The ACs with heelguards dont give me enough room and I only wear a size 7 boot... my heels felt like they were crammed up against the guards and just didnt allow enough room. Thats why I just got the regular AC without even pro peg nerfs. But I cant seem to find any heelguards that will work with stock pegs that will actually hold up to mx racing.

This will take some work but maybe you should figure out which brand you want to go with then search other models. Maybe there is something close fitting that can be mod'd to your liking.

With a welder, cutter, and drill you can make anything fit... oh and some duct tape!

I wear a size 12 boot and use the Rath nerf/heel guard setup... I had this same setup on my last two bike and I absolutely love them!! This is my first set of Phantom heel guards and I will not run another setup other than this one!! A++ on the design!

Just go with the PRO ARMOR pro pegs. They kick @$$!! I love them, they give you plenty of room for your heals and the pegs really give you some good grip.

Of all the nerfs out I like Pro Armor and Rath the best. First time I saw Rath I thought they looked ugly... Kyle told me to get them and I thought he was crazy. Now that I have seen them on so many quads I think they look nice.

I still love Pro Armor. They look tough and mean like I want nerfs to be. Plus the pegs are gnarly looking. Can't wait to get home and test mine out. Josh hooked me up at Pro Armor too.

I don't like the nets to be honest with ya... I want something thats solid when my heels hit it... I ended buying the ones from eXtreme Fabrication... He gave me a lifetime warranty and guaranteed perfect fit... Plus they look bullet proof... And with the price he gave me there was no way I could pass them up... I highly recommend these nerfs to anyone... Plus he was a really nice guy...

A lot of people don't like the nets b/c they haven't tried them. When I had metal heel guards, I would land hard and it would send a pain into the heel of my feet. The nets really allow the freedom of not having a heel guard and REALLY let you dig your feet into the pegs while sitting on the back of the quad and blitzing whoop setctions and other things.... Reguardlees, I'm glad you got somethingd that will work for you! It's better than not having nerfs at all! I know my nerfs have saved my legs a time or two in the past!

I did try the nets on my buddies... I just like the solid feel under my feet... I used to race motorcycles so I put the balls of my feet on the peg... real close to the toes... so a lot of foot is hanging off the back... I just need support for it...

i like how big the Rath's are too but i also want something solid. The only ones that would fit be perfectly are the Heelguards from GYTR for the YFZ since they cave in back, but those aren't for Suzuki. Also was wondering if the Rath heelguards would work with a stock peg and AC nerfs?

Anything is better then stock, ill tell you that much. They are there to guard against if your foot slips off but not as a second peg which many times is what people use them for. This is really hard for the aftermarket to come up with a product that will support the entire weight of the rider when they arent using the peg when jumping or hitting whoops or anytime their foot isnt completely on the peg. The LT-R was even more difficult because the bike is so wide the heelguards need to be just as wide or at least that close and coming up with some thing strong enough....let me tell you was a pain in the A$$!
