I'm a 4-wheeler too! What kind of suspension are you running?

It has a 4" Superlift, but I am running Rancho RS5000 shocks and stabilizer.

nice jeep...ya'll are so lucky living out there and having rocks like those to play on. I got stuck here in Sumter, SC where theres nothing but sand and mud...which means I dont get to go wheelin very often. I get so many people pullin up beside me askin "you take that thing muddin?" I just laugh and drive off...its not worth explaining it to them. anyway...heres mine...

Thanks clemson,
Yours is nice too. How are you running 37's with a 4 banger? Is it just because of the different gearing. I have a 4 also, and I want to go with 35's and another 2" of lift. How much did getting different gearing set you back? And yeah, there is a ton of places to go wheelin out here. :D

hey clemson
you dont need rocks to enjoy jeeps, i have 2 here in dubai , in the UAE , i got a 94 yj 4.0 , and a 2005 tj 4.0 and all our wheeling is in the sand pretyy much ,i would imagine it would be a lot harder with the 4 cylinder though , 2.5 inch old man emu susp lift on both, and the orange one has been stripped out completely , made a six point roll cage , put 2 sparco seats and removed the back door , round lights , aem intake , straight through custom exhaust , and lots more and i can tell you this car absolutely rips in the dunes , love drag racing it up our competition hill against the quads , they usually win though...

yeah its all in the gearing...youd be amazed what the 4 banger can do...i dont know that I ever wanna get rid of it...its light and gets better mileage when geared...as far as the gearing itself goes...i did it all myself...arbs and all...the gears shouldnt run more than 189.99 for 5.38...if you are running a dana 30 front the tallest you can go is 4.88 though but theyre about the same price...then you need master install kits which run round 80 or so bucks...i dont know if you have a 4 wheel parts around you but even though they may be higher on labor...they have the best waranties and all to cover what you put in it...get the genuine gear brand gears...they have a no questions asked lifetime warranty.
