I've been doing some more tuning. I didn't do the last run but this map should put me at an average of about 13.2:1 to 13.3:1. It really woke up the bike when I obtained this ratio. Before this in a drag the LTZ was faster with all it's mods. With this map the LTZ can't pull the LTR.

As a reminder I have a full Yoshi Pipe, Airbox modified with the Trinity intake and PIM installed.

AL, I have the exact same mods you have and also some holes drilled in the airbox. My LTR definetly feels flat(lean) on the top end. I have not changed the mapping on the PIM yet, waiting on a FIMIK. I was wondering if the minus signs before your numbered changes indicate you reduced the fuel and leaned it out? I figured it need to be richened up? Thanks for sharing your R&D.

The minus (-) does indeed mean I leaned it out. With a (-) you take away fuel and with a (+) you ad fuel in 1% increments. These bikes come really Rich from the factory and the PIM is also on the Rich side. Yoshi was definately playing it safe when they programed the maps into the PIM. With the pim at it's stock map the AFR is well below 13:1.

I'm pretty sure with the PIM it's 11,500. I have only had it up a little above 9000 in 5th at WOT. Of course I've had it higher in the lower gears.

I made the chart in Microsoft Excel.

Plug the FIMAK into the PIM

Turn on the ignition. Dont' start the quad

Switch the mode to "Manual"

Make your adjustments at whatever RPM you want by going to the RPM you want to adjust and then either add (+)or subtract (-) fuel.

Hit the set button to save the MAP

Unplug the FIMAK

Turn the ignition off

Turn the ignition back on and the new map will be used

I just checked my old dyno sheet and mine hit the rev. limited at 10,333.49 rpm. Could i have something wrong? I do have the Pim plugged in.

I could be wrong it may be 10,500 that it's set at. I'll call Yoshi to find out as I quite honestly don't remember.
