Excellent job!!! Looks like you had a lil fun with that mud. Little bit squirley when hitting the front brakes huh? I bet. I have a couple suggestions for ya.

1. I cant see by the pics but do you have your tear aways alternating sides? It helps me to grab individuals white I am in the air. Also, bend the tabs so that they arent sticking to each other. Cant tell from the pics if you are doing this or not.

2. You gotta drop those stock healgards. Notice the amount of mud you collected throughout the race. Mud, especially the wet and sticky, adds a TON of weight and can make your foot grips not work at all. Take a look at the Raths. Their healgrads wont hold nearly the amount of mud.

Please don't take this as any kind of critism. You rock!!! Just a couple of observations.

i had the tear offs right

i cant find aftermarket heelguards... and i dont want AC pro pegs with heelguards bc there is not enough room for my feet

I will NOT use Rath nerfs with heelguards for one reason and one reason only...the heelguards have nets on them...I do not feel safe with those at all especially after shattering a left foot

Alternate the tear offs and fold the ends of each. They are easier to grab. Take a look at the Rath system, Sister. Get the nerf and heegrad system.

thats what i did...

i wont ever run rath nerfs and heelguards if the heelguards have nets...they are f'ing ugly and i dont want nets behind my feet...i want something solid...i wont go through another shattered foot. might be a mental thing but i dont want nets behind me

Where are you in TX in reference to Wichita Falls? Only reason I ask is because my wife just drove down there this weekend and she got delayed because of flash flooding.

heres a pic from practice the day before the mud came....

and the track is probably at least 8 hours away from wichita falls.... we had major flooding down where we live which is in the gulf coast.

the tear offs werent stuck...i just slowed way down because i had a 40 sec lead and didnt need to chance going off the track bc of taking hands off the handlebars in the deep mud
