If you took out the light, why not just remove the whole nose section?

i put the nose piece back on because i think that the headlight is so bulky, but i think that theres to much of a gap between the hood and the bumper so i just think that the best thing to do. i dont really like the quadtech beak to much so this is what im doing for now, until quadtech comes out with thier hoods in like a month. but they arent gunna be carbon fiber only plastic for now.

it looks good. post new pics when you change the mesh. the nose piece protects some of your electronics that are right behind the light mounted to the front side of the frame IMO.

Okay I'm gonna let you guys in on a little secret, Okay maybe it's not that secret. But any way this is what I did with my boys bike and everybody seems to like it and it's cheap. Also you get plenty of protection and it looks good. What I did is take the the handle bar cover that has the idiot lights( you get rid of it anyway with new bar setups, right?) and did a little trimmin'(very little on the part where it used to snap on the bars) and wa la. super duper nose piece. It actually fits great up against the plastic. Two rivets is all it takes. Just make sure it's straight when you do the drillin'. :p
