Iam writing a paper for english, and was wondering about how many miles per gallon the average quad gets, doesnt have to be exact but close would be nice,

I havn't done any tests myself but I have heard some different results and mostly people are saying around 14. Of course it varies depending on the way you are riding.

14 miles per gallon is way below the normal, i heard easily 45+ with the TRX and YFZ450's at race speed.

Blaster racer is right I did a search on google and came up with some info from wikipedia heres what it said,
"The EPA estimates that each ATV consumes less than 59 gallons of fuel per year and obtains between 40 and 50mpg, making them not likely to fall under future fuel economy regulations. (Ibid. EPA 1)"

I would think 14mpg is way too low. A 600cc Sportbike with 100hp gets 35 to 40mpg.
