I just changed my oil and I was thinking I had a small magnet that is very strong. I noticed that the oil resivore was steel. What do you all think if I stuck the magnet to the bottom of the pan to catch the small shavings?......On the outside....good... bad... indifferent??

OK Im a moron......Just tried it to see how it would fit......its aluminum!!

you can try magnetizing the drain bolt on the plastic side.
