I was wondering your guys’ input on whether you’d buy a new frame or just bend mine back and gusset it. I bent the frame near the rear lower a arm so the a arms squeak a little bit. A guy at a shop near me said he could probably set up a jig and bend it into place but then wouldn’t I have to re powder coat my frame after welding the gussets on? If that’s the case I might as well just buy a new frame. How long would it take to tear the frame down. I’m not a professional mechanic by any means but I have a friend who has torn his trx to the frame who offered to help. I just don’t want to do all of that work if I don’t have to. Any advice would be great.

New Frame vs Powdercoating

New Frame 500 to 1000

fix bent frame
bend back 200
gussets free if you can weld
powdercoat maybe 250

I would say a frame with title is around 1000 so your better off getting your frame fixed.

steel can be bent back. straighten it as best you can, add gussets then maybe get adjustable a arms to get alignment back in spec
