After cleaning our quads on Sunday afternoon I noticed that Da_Zukikids new LT-R450 Suzuki had a couple areas on the Lower Stem mount that were missing some paint which is usualy an indication of something Flexxing and or Cracking.
Low and behold the lower stem mount is doing both ( Flexxing and Cracking ), this could result in a serious "Safety Issue" if not caught and fixxed. The Stopps on the Stem could very well get lodged in behind the Stopps on the frame causing the bike remain in a turned position and putting you the rider and the bike into a situation where hititng something like a tree or flipping it over could result in a serious injury or even death!!!
I advise everyone that has a LT-R to inspect this area and let anyone you know that ownes one to do the same.
Da_Zukikid's bike has maybe 20 hours of aggressive trail riding on it at the most, no big jumps or anything out of the ordinary, this is clearly an issues that Suzuki needs to fix. We took the bike up to our dealership last night and had it inspected and left soem pictures of the damge with them to show to Suzuki, We will keep you informed on what pans out with them But my guess is they are going to replace the frame.
Any questions please feel free to ask.

LMAO, dont be so fast to jump to conclusions guys. The tree that was tagged was a small sapling and was tagged at low speed and the quad climbed the tree and left NO damage not even a scratch in the paint on the A-Arm just tore the soft saplings skin off.Yeah but if you look back further in suzuki kids posts he did a nice endo into a tree. There's nothing wrong with the stems. He just smacked it hard enough to crack it when he endoed it.
NORMALZ from a few of the other boards researched it and found his post about hitting the tree.
