we have a lot of pros come down to practice with us over the winter.... they ride at splendora motocross park in Splendora Texas...Dee Manshack...John Natalies motor builder runs the track and has a shop close by the track.Tony Pacheco just recently bought the track so its VERY quad friendly as quad people own and run the track! Trust me...this track is worth it and people like Natalie and Pat Brown and Wimmer love training down here. There is a quick glimpse of the Splendora track in the Carpe Diem 2 movie at the very beginning scene

hmm you are going south for the winter.. I just moved from Texas to Minnesota JUST in time for the winter!! LOL

As far as a good place to go... I say Texas! We have had a lot of national riders that will come to Texas to train but the same thing goes for Florida too. One of the things you need to look at is will you have a track to ride on all the time or at least the time you are there for. There are unfortunately TOO many tracks that wont allow quads. If you come to Texas there are several places that offer night practices, the Millers is always a good place to go and they are open 7 days a week 24/7. I know alot of riders go there to train. So I would do some checking into tracks. We have a few tracks around north texas area that are open daily. Try these quad racing association sites for Texas www.TQRA.com (north Texas) and two for south Texas www.GCQRA.com and www.STQRA.com if you head south Splendora is a NICE track so is Three Palms ... just check out tracks in the area you are wanting to go to make sure you are getting the sit time you are looking for.....

I would consider moving down to southern Arizona. The track in Tucson has just reopened up and there a lot of other tracks with in 1 to 3 hours of driving. (Speedworld being about 3 hours from Tucson) This winter season I'm looking at being in atleast 3 to 4 series races and each series has any were from 8 to 10 races, so if you do 3 series that's about 24 races in about 5 months. Plus there are other tracks that have non series races too.

I would consider this area since you're going to get a lot of races in a short period of time.

Here is a link for you on all the local tracks in AZ.

A big plus is Glamis is about 4 hours from Tucson and Bowie (sand dunes also) is about 2 hours away.
