Looking for the following write-ups

-Baffle Modification
-Airbox Modification
-Cherry Bomb Installation

Doesn't have to be to detailed, but it would be nice to see step by step pictures, info, and tools needed.
As a small thanks I'll give full credit to you and mail over some ltr450hq decals. Please call dibs in this thread before 20 people do the same mod write-up, haha. If you have any other Ideas for mod write-ups let me know in this thread!

Cherry Bomb Install,

OK, I feel really stupid to even post this. The Cherry Bomb from Yosh goes on faster than taking it out of the package, LOL. There is a connector in the front of the R450, right side, under the nose. It might be a little more difficult if your light is still on, but I removed mine. The connector has a black rubber end cap. Slide off the cap, plug in the Cherry Bomb, zip ty the tail and actual resistor holder to the wiring bundle, and your done. Does this get me decals?

Airbox Modification,

I'm not looking for more, or any decals, just trying to help. I've posted this on other sites, and people liked the idea. Since I'm not exactly a kid anymore, the tip I've been giving guys is this: if you have removed your lid, and ride in either dusty or sandy areas, until K&N, or Outerwares comes out with their products, there is only one thing we can do. Old school! Use panty hose. I used this back in the day, before Outerwares. Same thing basically. Slide the fiter through one leg, take your time, because if you try to gorilla it in, you will get runs, just like women do, LOL. Trim around the intake side, leave the other side alone. Just drive the screw through it. Protecting an engine like this should be our number one priority, IMO. I hope this tip helps all our members.

Taylor...SandJunkie posted this, write-up on changing oil on the LTR. Everyone said it was a strange process, and he proved it for us. Please send a few stickers over on the awesome write-up, here it is:

OK...since I just did mine you guys are gonna have to make believe there is nasty break in oil oozing out.
First you have to drop the plastic protector with a #10 socket (God help us if we purchase skid plates  )

Then you pull those 2 engine cap screws with a #10 wrench

Then you pull the cork on the front oil tank

Now the oil filter cover...which has a arrow on it that I cannot figure out yet because it was pointing towards the back of the bike when I pulled it. You would think it would point UP or something...ohh well

Insert new filter...mine was filthy and lots of metal shards...thanks Moto Man!
Re-assemble and add 1.4 quarts into the forward oil tank.

NOW add .4 quarts to the clutch cover

And run for 3 minutes and double check...which you can't see anything because they have that same dumb dipstick that they use on the 400's :(

Weird!
