Wouldn't you know it. My LTR is in for the frame recall. I'm hoping it's done by noon tomorrow.

Thanks goes out to Matt at Bare Performance for signing up to be a Distributor for this item. You won't find a cheaper place to buy it anywhere on the net either.

Thanks Matt!

Just a heads up. I did not notice this but I need a couple more things to make this particular kit work.

I didn't do enough research. I thought the $589 kit had everything I needed. There are 2 items this kit does not have. The RPM Converter cable and the inductive pickup cable shown below are what's needed. Looks like I'll be spending a little more money ($120). Get ready Matt! Of course I might be able to find the inductive pickup locally.

Good job. Maybe in 08 the bike will come with this kinda stuff.
FUELATV

That would be sweet. Good thing is that it works for any engine/motor. I can use it on my LTZ, My ford truck or anything else for that matter. A nice little tool to have if you're into tuning things.

That means you can fine tune other quads -- hmmmmmm
How far is Saint Pauls from Winston-Salem ? ;)

So if you buy The RPM kit for 429$ together with the Inductive Pickup for 20.99$ that would do it.

How does it pick up the RPM signal from the bike ? Do you have to connect it somewhere ?

Winston-Salem is only a couple hours away.

You can either use the inductive clamp and just clamp it around the spark plug wire (that's what I have right now) or you can run a wire to the Yoshi Harness.

You will also need the Auxbox if you plan on hookin UP and monitoring the TPS though. That's what I plan on doing.

I Would like to use it as a tuning tool for different quads (LTZ-400, raptor 660, ...)

So I would clamp it arroud the spark plug wire.

What is the benefiet of monitoring the TPS ?

Is it possible to take some picture from installation and mounting of the LM1, Is it eassy to use it in a test run ?

Kind regards

I will post some pics later. All you really need to do is either weld a bung in your exhaust to screw in the oxygen sensor or you can put it down the tailpipe with a clamp they sell. The oxygen sensor clamp will not work with the Yoshi though as it will not clamp on correctly. That is why I went with the bung.

The TPS will allow me to see what the AFR is at any given throttle position which means I can tune it properly for that throttle position at a particular RPM.
