Well in the new dirtwheels, they took Elka's and used them with the stock shocks.

I would much rather have my stocks redone then go with some elkas, unless of course you send the elkas off to someone who actually knows how to set up a shock, but then you would be wasting your money to buy the elkas when you have a perfecly capable shock that comes with the bike.

When they revalve the LTR shocks they take out a spacer in the shock. That makes the shocks alittle longer and also gives the bike more wheel travel. If you want to replace the stocks shocks you may as well go long travel.
