was just wondering what that 3 or 4 inch long floppy rubber tube with endcap is ,that flops around the back of the fan , its got folds in it maybe it gets compressed by vacuum or something
can anyone shed some light on this

Dakar, I believe that is a breather and it's there so sand or dirt won't get into some orifice at the bottom. Least I'm pretty sure thats what it is... :D

Did you have to bring up long floppy nipples.

I thought it was a sensor that reads how hot the air is around the radiator, then if it gets to hot the fan kicks on. (I'm not sure about what i said).

OMG, try doing a google for long floppy nipples, interesting, but nothing to do with LTR radiators.

Well the parts manual has it listed as:

BOOT COMP,RDTR
