Like everyone else I'm still waiting for my LT-R. However unlike some of you, I'm completely without a ride till then

Awesome! The sand looked in pretty good shape too.

I have been wrenching on my R installing all the new Christmas gifts getting ready for Glamis.

Sand, what is it like...IMO it is the best ride there is! Little Sahara is so unique too, it is like an XC course filled with sand instead of rocks and dirt. Trails, trees, open dunes, water, it is all there. Just no really big dunes...Throwing a roost is great, the sand makes landing on jumps and spills much softer, you have got to try it out!

Day two - I spent the day showing everyone how to run a bowl.

Dunes were a bit choppy today. A bunch of bigger bikes, buggies, and Jeeps kept tearing up the same locations. We even went to the flats and it was way choppy out there too. Tomorrow is our last day on our mini-vacation.

And guess who gets to pull him out.....

Hey wht180, that's in Waynoka right? I'm from Kansas, and live about 2 hours away from there, i was wondering if its fun? and if you think it would be fun for a person riding a LT-Z250, all my friends have bigger four wheelers, such as a YFZ, and a tricked out banshee, and they both want to go, but idk if it would be much fun for me. What is ur opinion.

ahhh man its a blast. You'll be able to ride all the dunes out there on your 250. My son's quad is a TRX250 and I rode on the back of it most of the weekend. It was plenty of fun. Paddles aren't 100% necessary but they do make the day more fun and dunes a lil easier to conquer.

dude the little saharah is so fun! it doesnt matter what you take out there. the first time i went i had a blaster. the blaster sucked but it was still fun. now i upgraded o my z and its awesome. rattlesnake is gonna be freakin awesome.im from ponca city, ok so im not that far away.

when is that? do you usually camp at north or south camp? do you know anybody thats got ne paddles for sale

I'm not a regular up there. But we'll be at the south camp since the north is still closed.

I don't know any person with paddles for sale. But I have seen some pretty reasonable sets on ebay.

We are heading up on the 17th of Feb. Monday is the holliday so we'll probably stay out till then.

If memory serves me correctly the North opens sometime in March...it is always open for Spring Break.

You know I grew up in the coachella valley. And had about 20 acres of un-worked desert right next to my childhood home. Needless to say it became our home track. I rode my bikes every single day of the week. Now I'm sharing my experiences with my wife and kids.

The 250ex defintley looks alot better than the older models, i heard they have that cool feature that it ahs manual and semi auto transmission??
