Okay guys, we have two new monthly awards that will be passed out to a different member every month. The first one I will describe here is titled the "Lemon Award". There is a fairly lengthy story behind this, but I will try and sum it up quick.
At the beginning of each month, a vote will be held in the supporting member forum on the basis of who made the biggest fool of themself on the forums here. Any member is eligable to win (granted they posted something rediculous), but voting for this contest will be restricted to supporting members.
The story: A member on here, was looking to make a joke and began impersonating multi-time GNC MX Champion and Factory Suzuki rider Doug Gust. The joke ended up getting way out of hand, and the member was banned. "Doug" re-registered on here with the username "Lemon" and apologized to everyone. We're all adult enough to accept the guy's apology, and agreed to let him stay.
Now, adults or not; we still have a sense of humor. We decided to create this award, and have the winner boast a "lemonface" avatar for the following month, and a "Lemon Award Winner" username title below his avatar. Just a fun prank that I think we all (including each month's recipient) can appreciate.

The rules:
ANY member is eligable to be entered into the contest by a supporting member (including moderators).
Supporting members will enter any contestant they feel worthy and a poll will be created to determine the winner.
An administrator will automatically setup the avatar after the voting is closed, and remove the avatar when the next winner is elected

Inspired by the same fools who came up with the "Lemon Award", LTR450hq brings you the "cowbell award".
The cowbell award will be given away in the exact same fashion the lemon award is given every month, but the cowbell award is EARNED for something that really stands out -- made you laugh -- something clever. (look familiar DJ? ). Viewed as a positive award on HQ, the cowbell was a common on-going joke started by the forefarthers of the site, and originated from a famous SNL skit. Being such a classis joke, we decided to turn it into an award that will be voted upon each month, and the winner will place the "Cowbell Patch" in his/her signature for the remainder of the month. Voting/nominations will take place in the supporting member forum. Congratulations go out to "Al Elks" as the first winner of the cowbell award, as well as a main inspiration for this award.
