I know exactly what you mean on both occations..lol I ordered the Yoshimura EMS kit back in mid March when it was supposed to be release, Guess what?? I am still waiting and the kicker is that I have already paid for it.. getting tired of waiting.. I'll tell you what I have heard about the kick start option (this is what I have only heard) I don't know of a release date?? I know that it is supposed to shed 12 LBS from our LTR's when you remove the battery and starter motor ect.. as far as it only costing $100.. 
I'm afraid NOT ! I heard more like $300-$400.. I'll almost bet that there are some other electronic parts included in the kit to make up for how it is set up stock.. This is only what I have heard.. believe this however.. if youshimura states it will be released in a month.. give them at least 2 1/2... I guess its better to have to wait a bit and get it right the first time around!!!

Well GREAT for U! We all should be so lucky that "money is not an issue".. if money was not an issue then forums like these wouldn't exist! Money for me is an issue and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Now back to Kick Starters PLEASE! anyone have useful information!

So... does anyone know when Yoshimura is going to have this ready??? Like I said in my earlier post about them.. Great products.. but they take forever.. I just got told yesterday from MPR that the EMS kit is still at least 2 weeks out.. getting tired of hearing that... so can anyone out there who has some push or knows sn insider find out for us all about the release date of the Kick start... and while your asking this ask about the freakin EMS kit too.. I have decided that is the only way I am going to go.. all Yoshimura...well besides the intake... SOMEONE before I freakin :!: .. my LTR is just sitting & rotting away...

I got tired of hearing this about my LTR's arrival... now I have to hear it for everything I buy to add to it that has "Yoshimura" on it.... BUT!!! I am still stickin with the company that helped design and build it.. 2 weeks it is!.. every freakin' 2 weeks.. only 2 more weeks :shock:

I wouldnt be getting impatient, I'd say if you wanted parts for a 450R or YFZ or Z400 Yoshi could get it to you tomorrow. The LTR is still a new bike and I'm sure theyve been going full-tilt to produce their parts, but just cant keep up with the demand. Give it time, I'm sure its worth the wait.

I may start saving my pennies for this mod now.. There is just to many occasions where you see new sport quads not being able to make it to the line beacuase they have a electrical failure. kick starts are just more reliable! I cant see how the set up would only be 100 dollars.. It would need everything that the YFZ uses so I just cant see it. But I cant wait
