I gotta gloat once in awhile.

I just came back from the big sand box. I [of course] did some drag racing. I was racing this yfz. We were kinda set up by a guy that knew us both to do some drag racing.

His mods were.......

04 yfz, 14:1 comp HH piston, cam mod, ESR intake, ESR exhaust, 20 hp shot NOS, 41mm mx FCR sudco carb, +2 swinger, 21" hauler paddles. Really well set up bike. He dyno's it all the time to see where he picks up some extra hp. Dialed in really well. Pulled 54.9hp just motor(no spray) last time on the dyno.

My LTR. No airbox, K&N, Yoshi Exhaust, PIM, 21" haulers. Otherwise STOCK!

OK, I'm a drag racer(not to sound too cocky). One RARELY holeshots me. Well this guy could race too. With his swinger and paddle choice, he would sometimes pull a holeshot on me. I would end up walking around his bike by the end of the race(both bikes, just motor). He has a really well setup bike with some big $$ dumped in it. I was impressed how the big power spread LTR moved away from the hard hitting, high reving YFZ. With the spray, he was running right with really well set up drag banshee's with cheetah cubs on, for perspective.

Anyways, I thought the LTR was just a handling bike, but the more I open it up, the more I'm thinking it might be able to do it all. Suzuki got 'er done on this one. JMO

He didn't have the bottle on when he and I raced. He thought it was going to be a cake walk racing an LTR. LOL He straped the bottle on after that. And when he had it on, I was flagging. So no, he didn't hit the button when I raced him.

I agree with Clone. Everytime I mess with this thing it seems to result in a extra HP somewhere. I'm starting to wonder just what the potential of this motor really is :D

I wonder how well the Trinity 493 kit would do? THat would be the ultimate engine for the dunes.
