Maybe that is there fix to the national board of safety requirements once the owner/ racer takes the lights off? I guess they do not know that you will not need reflectors on a mx track, which is what it is designed for. That is weird that it does have reflectors, it ain't a trailer! Even the DVX and predator have reflextive stickers, not actual reflectors.

Where are you measuring from and to?

Front width 47" Rear 49"? I thought all quads were wider in the front then in the rear?

I figured out why they have reflectors... It is so the monster heard of humans racing to take a look at it do not run into it with all their excitement.

18/10/8 MX tires. I thought this was supposed to be 3" wider then the yfz?

Haha, it's just new zealand has different laws than the usa, it isn't the end of the world if you get a bike with REMOVABLE reflectors, hehe

 check out these pics i am posting to show the built in restriction in the new LT-R450. the coin on the air box lid is the same size as your quarter and the two holes you can see are the ONLY holes to get air into the engine. the exhaust outlet is the size of your dime!!!!! big improvement to be made in these two areas. we are going to dyno the quad next week in stock form and then fitting an exhaust, modifying the air intake and wire up a MOTEC programable computer and are confident on getting BIG improvements.....will keep ya posted
