I am thinking about buying a K&N intake, but am wondering if I will even be able to tell the difference. Right now, I have a cherry bomb and full yoshi exhaust. Will I even notice performance?
What he said! Here is the bottom line ........ adding a Trinity or Pro design intake will not add any HP. It will add a clamping surface for the filter and for that reason alone i like those intakes. To get more HP you will need to basically remove all of the air box. Drilling a few holes in it will not do much if anything. So if you are ridding in conditions like the above LEAVE YOUR AIR BOX ON. The 1 HP you will gain by removing the air box is not worth it.

for some reason i dont feel bad for you having that sort of "problem" :lol:Yea that is going over well...
"Honey watch our daughter please, yes I know I haven't seen you in 8 months but I have A arms, shocks, intakes, and power commanders to install OH MY!"
Not to mention the sound system for my 4Runner I bought before I GOT deployed.
OH AND... Pro Armor Nerfs, Bumper, Junkie Raditor Shrouds, Junkie Gas Cap... ITP Wheels and Tires... hand guards, 15t sprocket......... and the Cernics graphics kit if I get my new seat... if not it will wait and I'll sport the K&K a little longer.
