I'm always having a problem. This time, i installed the pim, won't start. The FI light is blinking. So i started to back track by disconnecting each plug and tried to start. Same thing, Then i disconnected the whole pim and still will not start. I give up, my finger tips are sore.

Somewhere I think you may have had it hooked to the wrong wire. Why it won't start now has me puzzled though.

MY finger tips are so sore from connecting & disconnecting that i give up for the night. I 'm 99.9 % sure everything is hooked back up correct, but the light is still flashing and it won't start. I first thought that the guy i just purchased the pim from might of sold me a bad one. but now it will not start with it unhooked, so something else is wrong.

The first thing I'd do is check all your fuses then.
Good news, i got her to start. What i did after hours of thinking about it. I left the battery negative unhooked for 3 hrs. Then i unhooked the Cherry Bomb. She cranked up. Then i quickly plugged the Pim in and she started. I guess all it was is that the computer just needed to be reseted without the cb. She should be ready to go now. I hope the map selector is right. The guy sent me the Pim without instructions. He said the Pim shpuld already be set on map #2. What i observe is that the two map selectors is unplugged, so is that #2?

unplugged is for a pipe with no baffle/sparkarrester
Nice to hear you got it going. So have you had a chance to ride it since the install?
No, it will wake the neighbors up. Not that i care, but i sure they will call the police on me. I may be a cop myself, but i would have to explain to a supervisor why i did what i did. I have several drags lined up for tomorrow against all 450r's heavily modded. I'll just do what i can hoping the tune up is close.

Corey
The Dasa pipe should have no spark arrested, right?
Unless you bought a quiet core from Fuel?..nope..the Dasa has no spark arrestor... :D
so problem solved? report to moderator? move thread to problem solved thread?
