Excuse me, but I am new to this FI stuff. I have a Yoshi PIM on order and the shop said they would tune it for me with their FIMAK. My question is...how do you know when it is tuned? Does the FIMAK let you know when you are at max hp? I see these maps with all the data, but how do you know what is right?

Gotta get it on a dyno man...Only way to know is to look at A/F and before and after numbers.

And to be honest....with your mods, Id put the PIM on the 2 postion and leave it alone anyway. You wont pick up anything from a FIMAK imo. :fro:

I agree. Don't let them touch it because they have no way of monitoring the AF ratio. There will be MAPS posted eventually and then take one of those maps to them and let them tune it. Better yet find someone who has one and tune it yourself. It's very simple to do. For now just put the PIM on and leave it on MAP #2 and it will run GREAT. It's a little rich but that doesn't hurt anything at all. Even when you open the airbox and put a K&N it will still be a little rich. If they have no way of monitoring it they could tune it too lean which will do damage to your bike.
