It still won't touch an ltr it's a kawasaki i mean c'mon

I'm a HUGE RC4 fan, but Bubba has been amazing on the KX450F.... I'll have to see before I make any decisions... Im not liking reverse but I do like the aluminum frame... I think... we'll have to see how that holds up in an ATV chassis... Even if it is better than the LTR and I dont have one, its a good step in the right direction for our sport... Nothing like having the big 4 at an ATVA National with their factory rigs... Once this sport gets televised its gonna take off... Suzuki said they sold 10 Z400s for every RM250, so its obvious ATVs are more popular...

mmm, mmm...time for speculation. Was wondering when Kawasaki was going to lay a teaser out, alot of people began doubting whether their 450 was really in the works or not.

Overall...looks REALLY promising, I'm not a personal believer in reverse but they can play that up for huge marketing with the GNCC, trail, and recreational crowd huge. Having the power of a 450 class quad with the opportunity for reverse is going to be a huge selling point for a lot of people. I can definitely see some huge sales figures coming into play...

Can't wait to see more

If it would've been a LTR clone then i could get a better deal on one, since i'm sponsored by a KAWASAKI dealer. Can't wait until they release more info on it.

ATV's may be more popular in worldwide sales but most guys with dirbikes race mx, and Dirtbikes are 10x more popular for racing.

I agree with you my friend. :D
There is a helluva lot more folks that trail ride than race!
I think that kawasaki is looking more at the blue collar working class with this new machine
because they know thats where the moneys at! ;)

I gotta admit that reverse is still a major concern for my kids. They all comment of how much they like it on their bikes and they look at mine and just shake their heads. I just tell them "Who wants something that goes THAT FAST in reverse?" :p

All I can say is NO. I have been waiting too long for parts for my LTR, and to trade in and wait that much longer to modify another bike? Nope. Not my bag, man. I'm sure it will be cool for most people, with the reverse and all. Hell, I might even buy one for my wife. She's been wanting to try to ride my LTR, but really doesn't like the fact that it has no reverse. And I'm not real keen on her tearing it up since she has never driven an ATV or bike with a clutch. We'll see how much they want for that badboy first.

If theres 10 guys that ride quads and one races, the other nine are gonna want to watch the race. I see more dirtbikes at the track, but the fan base is all atvs. The weekend trail rider has to have some ATV entertainment when not riding. ATV racing would be much more popular than dirtbikes with a little publicity.
