Im getting some 1 1/8" Pro Tapers and Im wondering what the highest bend of bars I can get without overstretching the cables. I will be using the Pro Taper universal mounts. Thank you very much.

I bought the FUELATV 1 1/8" bar clamps and a set of Pro Taper CR HI bends and they fit perfect. The Pro Taper universal mounts add some hight to the bars so I'm not positive what bend you would need. My cables are not stretched at all so I'm sure you could get away the the CR HI and the universal clamps. I'm sure someone else will chime in and give you a better answer.

Alright, Im thinking of going with the Pro Taper CR Medieum bend. This will end up being about 1/4" higher then your setup. There is enough slack in the cables for that extra 1/4" right?

i have a set of tag fat bars with a yfz bend. they are the absolute tallest i would go. i have the levers and starter button in the stock position and when i turn the bars all the way there is very little slack in the wires for the starter switch.
