Hid Lights

Philys21 is running them with the mount that attaches to the shock bracket. You will have to ask him how well they work. Here is a link to his pics.

I have them on my LTR and love them. They are VERY bright!!! B) B)

They take a minute to come up to temperature but when they do, they are blinding. I saw spots in bright day light after looking at them from several feet away! The kit comes with one flood and one spot light so you get a very good beam of light with the combo. You cannot even compare them to the stock light as they are probably more than 10x brighter! Make sure you get the brightest kit. There were some on ebay that were the weak ones.

slief is exactly right, very very bright! Worth every penny to me. I just think they could of spent some more money on the wiring harness....it's cheap! It didn't even come with all the connectors.

It was simple.. I cut the head light plug off the factory harness and kept it with the stock light for safe keeping. I just tied both lights together. Ground them both and hooked the positve leads up to the high and low beam connectors that way they stay on regardless of being on High or Low. It was very simple and only tooks minutes.

i got some hid on mine with the factory headlighti just order i kit for my car on i crash my car so i only had one left so i made it so ill could fit on my ltr i got 8000k i took it to pismo beach 2 weeks ago they where so brite ill could see realy far clean ....i got some pic


the white one is 8000k
yellow one is 4300k
both got hid

The only down side to these lights are that the guys I ride with complain they they are sooooo bright in the woods that it makes it harder to ride by their own light.

For anybody looking for cheaper lights, look at the blinglights.com website. I dont know how they go on the quality side, mabye someone could tell me.

I have a single bi-xenon hid projector and the light makes a world of difference. And when you flip on the high beam and let the light flow out of the whole projector... watch out. B)

I ran the MR11(???I think thats which ones??) HID lights from trail tech on my old ATK on a trip to glamis and WOW I loved those lights, I cant wait to get them back from a guy I lent them to so I can make a quick change mount for the zuk.

sorry to bring up an old topic, but what bulb are you using in your stock housing?

I'd like HID but I would like to keep it in the stock housing.

Sweet Thread..Funny is i was talking to a friend last night about these and then i See this Topic...Ill be getting the SCMR16's this week most likely. Since i wont be able to see much with the Headlight i have now cuz the BlingStar bumper in the way.

try ricky stator they have hid bulbs that fit in the stock light

i dont know their website does any one else?

you will be very happy with them.

Man this sucks...Got an email today from The place after i did my order last night that its now a 1-2 month wait for the Lights...They say the Light is to heavy for the Shock mount and there re-doing them...WTF!!! so then i ask ok, i want to get just the Frame mount and she said 2 weeks....Man this sucks. I was all hyped up to install these bad boys this week....GRRRR!!!!!!
