I just realized you were from Lafayette. My entire family is originally from that area.
My parents are from Rayne and Crowley. I was born in Crowley....Lived in Lafeyette for the first few years of my life -- went to K and 1st grade there. Then moved to AL.
Used to always eat at LaFonda's and Don's when we visited. Grandparents have since passed .....Uncle and Aunt still there... Others in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

YOU could actually pronounce my last name correctly --

I don't know. I have some cousins down there from my Grandpa's (Mier) brother's side.
Kinda' out of touch. Find out Father's and Grandfather's name.

This could be fun ---- As Long as I don't find out that I am related to Sandjunkie.
