OK I understand finding power but what was causing it to stall? Idle set too low?

I just got it today and it is a dog. It has no power. 10 min later it would stall when the throtle was reved in N and first gear. What is up with this thing? It is supposed to be fast and have alot of power? Should I take it back and have them fix it or is this it? Thanks
