I just got it today and it is a dog. It has no power. 10 min later it would stall when the throtle was reved in N and first gear. What is up with this thing? It is supposed to be fast and have alot of power? Should I take it back and have them fix it or is this it? Thanks

Just kidding...I think that something could be wrong there...might make sure the fuel pepcock is on and just give it a once over...but since it's new I don't think I would do anything else or the dealer might give you a hard time...
Make them fix it...it's your hard earned money you just spent... :angry:

Make sure you have the basic mods ...... in stock form the LTR450 is kinda weak on the power side. So pull off the air box lid, Add the $40.00 Yoshimura cherry bomb, remove the stock baffle A.K.A pea shooter. Now you will have some HP.

I didn't think it was that bad in stock form! WEll just take off the Airbox lid, remove the spark arrestor and get a Cherry bomb.

Take that sucker back brother. Something isn't right if it's stalling like that. Are you sure it isn't hitting the rev limiter?

i would listen to the people saying get a crbm IF you've not rode before, if this isn't your first take it back cuz there definitly is power there at stock. i dont think stalling would be that uncomin because the dealers mech probably didn't or dosn't know how to set the idle. my buddy had the same problem on his yzf he got a few days ago, it wouldnt keep idle in N and would stall.

mine had a bad exhaust cam. it wouldn't start after stall. 14:1 compression after stall.

Thanks problem solved.. Chbm, peashooter, and intake I found some Power...... But not like my lt500...
