today i was dialing in my suspension and i noticed a rubber boot fell from the quad, i don't know where it fell from, but it looks like a cover, it's clear and looks like it would fit over a nine volt battery, i gave a quick glance at the bike and i couldn't see where it fell from.maybe one of you guys knows what it is, and where it came from. your help is appreciated.thanks.

OK GOT IT...it's the cap on the EFI controller...here an old pic I took when I put the fuel module on...

Ohhhh...it's under the gas tank...you can barely reach it with your fingers with the gas tank on...that picture is with the seat off looking under the tank...and it is just pressure fit on top of the wiring loom that plugs into the EFI unit...you should see a white plug there now without that cap on it...fits kinda snug?...or not because yours fell of...I haven't had mine on since I upgraded the fuel module...so you should be ok without it...

And NO...DO NOT GLUE IT...

I bet you its the little plug from under the air box. If its about 1/2" around and about 1 1/2" long and clear witha metal spring around it, look at the bottom of your air box for the place to mount it.

No it's not the drain plug for the air box...it's that thing in the photo..I saved mine so I know exactly what it was when he asked...went running around my bike thinking...MAN..I know that part...
