Anybody had this problem?? Need throttle to start, won't idle, blowing smoke. Spark plug is black cleaned it up but still same problem, choke is definately off, air filter clean.

Did a couple of laps of the local mx track this morning, fuel light came on so I was going to hit this jump once more before fuelling up but as I turned it around it stalled. Got it started again, fulled it up but problem remains. Got home, pulled it to bits and don't know where to look next for the problem.

Had ltr for 5-6 weeks and has approx 20 to 25 hrs on it.

Can Anybody Help!!!

I would drop it off at the dealer. Sounds like a FI problem. You have 6 months of factory warrenty.

this is the first thing I would do..(if you haven't fixed it yet being that this post is a little old) take your battery cover off.. unscrew :p both the posative and negative cables from your battery.. now get this! take the two cable ends and touch them together for 30 seconds or so! this will re-set your FI map.. then put them back on the battery ( if your running a CRBM unplug it before doing this, then plug it back in before putting the cables back on) now start your LTR!!! it should have corrected the problem unless maybe your plug is fouled or was bad to begin with.. wich is always a possability.. and one other thing! FYI- fuel injected engines do not have chokes.. that lever is just an idle adjuster per say and that is all.. one other thing you might want to check is your throttle body.. make sure that the butterfly valve is opening up all the way when you hit the throttle.. maybe your cable isn't adjusted properly.. just food for thought! but what the heck do I know?.. from your description its definately running rich!
